Merry Christmas!

View image

Merry Christmas and season's greetings from all of us.

Here are the girls and their first visit to Santa. They didn't seem to mind the old guy too much. The girls celebrated Christmas with two of their grandparents over the weekend. They seemed to like the wrapping paper more than opening the presents, but they love their new presents.

My computer crashed last week, and I bought a new one, which I haven't put together yet. So, if I'm not back before New Year's, have a happy New Year's eve and a great New Year!

More Time to Spend with the Girls

I had my final web design class earlier tonight. (There is a Web 102 class next semester, but it starts at 4:30 p.m., and that's when Lori is just getting off work, so I'll have to wait until it is offered some other time.) I plan to learn some more on my own, but with the girls taking up more of my time, that may or may not happen.

The immediate task at hand is getting my Christmas shopping underway. I have to go out and hit the stores sometime this week. Lori has finally given me some ideas for presents she would like, so now I at least have something to go on. For some reason, she is hard for me to buy for. After 11 years, you'd think I would have some ideas of my own, but every year I draw a blank. Her birthday is two weeks after Christmas, but I usually get her birthday present while I'm Christmas shopping.

Oh yeah, the girls are doing fine. A little cranky, but otherwise pretty good. We took these Christmas pictures the other night, and Lillie didn't want anything to do with it. Gracie, on the other hand, smiles whenever we point a camera at her. What a ham!

With the Grace of God

Here's two from Grace. She's quite the ham sometimes. Used to be that we could only get good pictures from Lillie.

The girls are quite clingy right now. They cry if I get out of their line of sight. It makes it hard to do anything but spend time with them. But that's okay most of the time.

When they woke up this morning, I heard them talking and laughing up a storm. Wish I knew what they were laughing about. That's a secret they won't share with me.

Brrr! It's Cold Outside, but We're Toasty Warm

Here's a photo of the girls showing off their new hats. They need them now that it's turned cold. The other picture shows them in their Christmas colors. We put up our tree Tuesday night, so it's starting to look like Christmas around here. About all that is left is to do our Christmas shopping before everything gets picked over. Maybe there will be some time for that this weekend.

I have to finish up my group project for my Web design class this weekend. Monday is my last class, when we have to present our project. I'm not planning to take any classes this Spring, so I'll have time to fiddle with this web site during the cold Winter. At least, that's a goal of mine. That, and spending more time with the girls.
